Vagos MC
The “Green Nation” — a major regional power of the American Southwest and Mexico that long stood in the shadow of the Big Four, until an informant’s triple infiltration put it on the national map.
◆ Back to all clubs ◆Origins & the Green Nation
The Vagos emerged in Southern California and spread across the West and into Mexico, earning the nickname the “Green Nation” from their green-and-gold colors.
Their center patch depicts Loki, the Norse god of mischief, riding a motorcycle. Long overshadowed by the Hells Angels, Outlaws, Bandidos and Pagan’s, the Vagos nonetheless became a significant regional force — and a frequent target of law-enforcement infiltration.
The Falco Infiltration
The Vagos are the library’s clearest inside view of a club otherwise seen only from the outside — because ATF informant Charles Falco penetrated them first. Falco worked his way inside the Green Nation, then leveraged that credibility to infiltrate the Mongols and the Outlaws in turn — a rare triple infiltration that produced federal prosecutions against all three. His account, Vagos, Mongols, and Outlaws (with Kerrie Droban), is the definitive source on the club.
